How is Pico Tracker supplied?
Preconfigured with SIM card installed. Charge battery via USB port and you're all set. You can set up a personal account on the internet and start tracking routes covered immediately online.
When is Pico Tracker operational?
As soon as the GPS LED display flashes green twice, Pico Tracker has
good satellite reception and is ready to go.
How do you get the best satellite reception with Pico Tracker?
Position the top side of Pico Tracker so that it is pointing directly towards
the sky. Avoid locations beneath metallic surfaces.
How do I recharge the Pico Tracker battery?
Connect Pico Tracker via a USB cable to your computer or to the charger
supplied. The battery LED display will begin to flash orange.
How can I configure Pico Tracker?
In the near future, it will be possible to adjust Pico Tracker online to
match your personal requirements. The configuration will then be
automatically sent to your Pico Tracker free of charge via text message.

What do the LED displays on Pico Tracker mean?
GSM and on/off display - left
Briefly flashes green twice → Pico Tracker is connected to the GSM network and has established a connection to the internet server.
Slow single green flash → there is a GSM connection but no connection to the internet server.
If the LED display is permanently lit green, this means that the Pico Tracker is switched on, but there is no connection to the GSM network.
LED only lights up green briefly every 30 seconds → Pico Tracker is in sleep mode. As soon as Pico Tracker is moved, it switches to active mode again.
LED is not lit → Pico Tracker is switched off.
Battery status - centre
Is permanently lit green if the Pico Tracker battery is connected to an external power supply and is fully charged.
If the LED flashes red, this means that the battery power will soon be exhausted. Recharge the battery as soon as possible.
GPS reception (satellite) - right
Single orange flash → there is no satellite reception. This happens in buildings or under large roofs. Position yourself, if possible, so that you can see the sky.
Brief double flash → the position given is imprecise as very few satellites are being picked up.
Briefly triple flash → the satellite reception is good. Your position data are being precisely recorded.
What happens if Pico Tracker has no GSM reception?
Pico Tracker stores the last 1000 satellite positions and transmits these as soon as a GSM connection is restored.
What happens if the battery is flat?
Pico Tracker switches itself off and is therefore no longer able to determine and transmit your position.
Does Pico Tracker also work abroad?
You must activate the roaming option in order for Pico Tracker to work abroad. This costs CHF 30.00 a month. The tracker flat rate also applies in this case. The option can be cancelled again on a monthly basis.
